Megan – Senior APA Titled Sports & Exercise Physiotherapist – Ringwood Sports Medicine
Megan Roy is a sports physiotherapist in Ringwood at Ringwood Sports Medicine. She is an APA Titled Sports & Exercise Physiotherapist. She holds a Master's in Sports Physiotherapy. She has spent her career working with elite athletes and everyday patients alike.
Megan grew up as a competitive gymnast. She received physio as a young athlete. Later, she coached Women's Artistic Gymnastics before becoming a physio herself. This gives her real insight into the physical and mental demands of sport.
She has spent the last decade working in professional cricket. She was the Lead Physiotherapist for the Victorian Women's Cricket Team and the Melbourne Stars WBBL team. Before that, she worked with Cricket Australia as physio for the Australian Women's Cricket Team. She was part of three consecutive World Cup wins and an Ashes victory.
Megan has also worked with Tennis Australia at junior and Grand Slam level, including the Australian Open. She has contributed to Basketball Victoria, Gymnastics Victoria, and many state and national sporting bodies.

Beyond elite sport, Megan focuses on post-surgical rehabilitation, women's health, and pre/post-natal care. She also treats finger and hand injuries. She can design and fit custom thermoplastic splints — a rare clinical skill.
Megan works with top athletes and local community members. She brings a caring, evidence-based approach to every patient. Her goal is to help people recover, rebuild, and reach their goals.
